Hello Alumni and Friends of Penn State,

Welcome to the Delaware Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association!  We are committed to connecting the family of alumni, students, parents and friends of Penn State that live in the First State.  Through this network, we endeavor to continue the Penn State experience for local chapter members through a variety of social, educational and philanthropic events.

Our chapter is comprised of roughly 200 active members of diverse ages, backgrounds and interests.  The Delaware Chapter is one of the most active chapters on the East Coast in Community Service programs, and our group has been named a PSAA Group of Distinction since 2004.  The Chapter has also received awards from the alumni association for Student Interaction and Joint Social Activities.

As part of the largest and most active alumni network in the world, our Chapter strives to develop programming for all alums.  A sampling of our activities includes:  breakfast for Sojourner’s Place residents; a Big Ten Alumni Blood Drive; a relay team in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life; fall football “TV tailgates”; happy hours, including the popular Penn State Alumni Beach Happy Hour; and annual events such as a golf outing and chapter picnic & student sendoff.

As President of the Delaware Chapter, I am proud of the commitment and dedication that Chapter members show for our community—in Delaware and at Penn State.  It is this devotion that has earned the Chapter recognition from our peers, our partner organizations and the national association.  We invite you to join us in celebrating and promoting the Penn State Experience to all in the First State!
